POLICIES & PROCEDURES

REGISTRATION FEE

All students will be charged a yearly registration fee. This fee is charged every September or when you join thereafter. This yearly registration fee is valid from September thru August.

MAKEUP POLICY

In the event that your child is ill or otherwise cannot attend class, you have the ability to schedule a Make-Up class. One makeup class is allowed per session unless it is a class cancelled by Midwest Gymnastics. Make-Ups should be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance and in the same level as their current enrollment. Make-ups must be scheduled during the session which the missed class had occurred. No refunds for missed classes, no pro-rating for current customers.

CLASS SWITCHING AND MOVE UP PROCEDURE
Once the session has started your child is to remain active in the same class to the end of the session. When you are notified that your child is ready to move up you may sign up for the next level at the end of the session. This is to ensure class stability along with establishing a bond between the coach and fellow classmates.

DROP PROCEDURE
Please let us know if your child is dropping for the next session. However, if Midwest does not receive your tuition by the due date Midwest will assume you are dropping and remove you from the class.
No refunds after the session starts. This is the first day of the session, not the first day of your child’s class.
If you cancel an enrollment prior to the session beginning, you will be assessed a $15 Cancellation Fee.

BILLING DUE DATE:

Team gymnasts are billed monthly. The statement for the NEXT month is sent out via email around the 15th of the current month. Payment is due the 1st of the month you are paying for. You may incur a $15 late fee if not paid by the due date. If payment is not received by the 8th of the month, your gymnast may not be allowed to practice until payment is received. Recreational classes are billed per session. You will receive an email statement upon enrollment with your charges and a due date. If payment is not received by the due date, your child’s enrollment may be dropped to open the spot for another student. During the school year, anyone enrolled in a class will have priority enrollment for the next session. Payment must be received by the due date to hold your spot in class for the next session. Summer session is a completely different schedule and all students must re-enroll for class on a first come first serve basis; there is no priority enrollment. The same will apply for Fall #1 session; all students must re-enroll for class on a first come first serve basis.

ARRIVAL AND PICKUP

Be sure your student arrives 5 minutes before his/her scheduled class time. Please pick up your student on time. Please inform us if you know you will be late picking up your student. Instruct your student to wait inside the building and you should escort them from the building to your car. Do not take a chance on your student running to and from your car. During peak times the parking lot is crowded. Please take into consideration that our “students” may include young children. Please drive slowly and carefully.
