GIRLS TEAM PROGRAM
Junior Olympic Levels 3 – 10 & Xcel | 6 – 22+ Hrs Per Week | Invite Only
Midwest Gymnastics’ Girls Team trains levels 3 thru 10, Elite, and Xcel. Gymnasts train and compete on the 4 Women’s Olympic Events (Floor, Vault, Beam, Bars). Team gymnastics is a yearlong commitment and tuition is due monthly. Practice hours and cost will vary depending on the level the gymnast is competing. Gymnasts must obtain a qualifying score at a sanctioned meet to move up to the next level. Team tryouts are held annually in the late winter/early spring to allow gymnasts from the recreational program to join. Girls age 6 or older are encouraged to try out for our Girls Team.
BOYS TEAM PROGRAM
Junior Olympic Levels 4 and Up | 4 – 15 Hrs Per Week | Invite Only
Midwest Gymnastics’ Boys Team trains levels 4 thru 10. Gymnasts train and compete on the 6 Men’s Olympic Events (Floor, Vault, High Bar, Still Rings, Pommel Horse, and Parallel Bars). Team gymnastics is a yearlong commitment and tuition is due monthly. Practice hours and cost will vary depending on the level the gymnast is competing. Gymnasts must obtain a qualifying score at a sanctioned meet to move up to the next level. Team tryouts are held annually to allow gymnasts from the recreational program to join. Boys age 6 and older are encouraged to try out for our Boys Team.
USA GYMNASTICS
United States of America Gymnastics (USA Gymnastics) or USAG is the national governing body for gymnastics in the United States. Established in 1963, USA Gymnastics is responsible for selecting and training national teams for the Olympic Games and World Championships. The mission of USA Gymnastics is to encourage participation and the pursuit of excellence in all aspects of gymnastics.
